Кит (от англ. Kit, «набор, комплект») — вариантный класс в системе AD&D 2.
Киты персонажей были введены в AD&D 2 как способ дать игрокам возможность доработать базовый класс для расширения индивидуальности персонажа, его отличий от других персонажей с тем же классом. Как правило, кит представляет собой замену каких-то из классовых способностей на другие, отражающие изменения в расе, социальном происхождении, обучении или культуре, к которым принадлежит персонаж. Так, например, кит воина может включать в себя умение действовать каким-либо экзотическим оружием, улучшенные навыки верховой езды или членство в какой-либо организации.
Новые киты появлялись практически во всех рулбуках второй редакции, и вскоре возникли дублирования, когда киты с одним и тем же названием, опубликованные в разных книгах, различались между собой. Примером такого дублирования является кит «шаман», присутствующий в шести изданиях.
В определённой степени идейными наследниками китов являются престиж-классы третьей редакции.
